Our customisation service covers the entire development path — from the first conceptual design stage through to launch — so a device can be built around one industry or one application instead of around a catalogue.
High-speed fieldbus
Panelmate supports a broad range of bus protocols — EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, CANBUS, PROFINET, ADS and others — for seamless communication with the master PLC. The hardware holds its performance in demanding environments, integrates multiple peripherals and drives field devices, which is what removes the usual multi-vendor integration problem.

The buses we speak
- EtherCAT
- Ethernet for Control Automation Technology: a high-performance real-time industrial Ethernet protocol developed by BECKHOFF and supported since 2003 by the ETG. It uses standard Ethernet physical layers and ordinary Ethernet cards, over twisted pair or optical fibre.
- Modbus TCP
- Developed by Modicon — now part of Schneider Electric — in 1979 and the de facto standard in industrial communication ever since. A simple message structure, several data types, error checking and compatibility with many transmission media make it the safe default.
- PROFINET
- An advanced industrial Ethernet protocol for automation. Real-Time Ethernet for automation communication: a complete network solution covering motion control, distributed automation, fail-safety and network security.
- CANBUS
- Controller Area Network Bus, a serial protocol used widely in automotive and industrial automation wherever timing matters. It handles complex electromagnetic environments while keeping data transmission accurate and stable.

01Feasibility analysis
Against your customisation requirements we hold the preliminary discussions and requirement analysis: hardware architecture, software, and industrial process design.
02Electronic design
Products are designed for scalability from the start — most of our OBM standard products carry built-in expansion interfaces precisely so that customisation stays cheap.
03Mechanical design
Structural design and analysis, material selection and engineering practice give the enclosure the stability, durability and functionality the installation needs.
04Software design
Windows, Linux or Raspberry Pi, plus remote device monitoring and management.
05Industrial process design
We supply the 3D model, and once the process is fully approved we produce high-resolution renders of the product and write the product specification book.
06Approval and production
With the plan fixed, a prototype is built and approved by you. Production and delivery times are confirmed, and series production of the customised product begins.
